I recently moved site to new clean J5 install but want to preserve a long history of traffic from prior pages.

How can I set the hits counter to a specific number to reflect historic traffic?

Either:
1. Edit the database directly (e.g. using phpMy Admin)
2. Find an extension that does it for you. There are a few that will “reset” hits but I’m not sure about seting them to a specific value.

I guess it depends how many things you have to reset and how much time you have
